Quartermasters PMA

The Committee went through a number of iterations to get to the logo for the Quartermasters. We looked at hour glasses in the shape of a Q, livery badges with ribbons forming Q and m, and the simple shape of a Q. We ended up with the Q you see in the logo, using the City red colour and including Alderman Alastair Kings' Lord Mayors' tartan.

The Quartermasters Past Masters Association was founded on 8 June 2025 at the Livery weekend in Aberdeen. Sheriff David Chalk and the head of the Livery Committee, JulianSibley, was in charge of the meeting.

It was decided that the name should be Quartermasters. Other names considered were Granite Masters, Tartan Masters, Tartan Clan and more
